Everybody is thinking about moving to Los Angeles. I know I did for a LONG LONG time. The weather.... the girls... the celebrities, the opportunity if you have the hustle... Hollywood California!
I moved to Los Angeles about 2 years ago and since I moved, everything in my life has excelled.
I became a millionaire, I drive a car that cost $210,000 new, and a $80,000 Benz C43 AMG Convertible, I live in a $10,000 a month townhouse in one of the most popular Hollywood spots at Hollywood and Vine.
These things aren't to brag... they are to show the accomplishments that I honestly believe Los Angeles and the energy here has allowed me to have and shine with.
When I first moved here I lived in someone's living room and then I shared a tiny studio apartment with someone who now works for me.
Sounds crazy, but bear with me I'm going to explain a lot of what I've learned and how you can start moving to los angeles in this video.
There is a reason actors, comedians, music artists and everyone who is or is going to become famous generally move to Los Angeles.
You may have been considering moving to LA for a long time and you have wondered how you can do it. This video isn't just for Music Artists, it's for anyone that wants to move to Los Angeles to chase their dreams.
I want to mention, you don't really NEED a car in Los Angeles if you move to the right area. You can walk or Uber everywhere.
The first year I was in LA I rode a $50 bicycle I bought from a Bum on the street.
If you want to move TO Lose Angeles leave comments below that also include your Facebook link and when you want to move. You can all talk together and see who wants to move at the same time and use this video and it's comments as a hub to help each other get out here.
First let me talk about how I ended up moving here.
I saved up about $3,000 so from that you can tell you don't need a lot to move here.
I had someone I barely knew in LA that saw a post I made on Facebook about me wanting to move to LA
That person inboxed me and told me they were actually leaving their apartment for the summer and needed someone to sublet it (meaning take it over)
It was a 1 bedroom apartment in west hollywood and the rent on it was $1,750 That was WAYYYY to much but believe it or not that is the normal price of a 1 bedroom in West Hollywood.
So I found a friend who would go with me for the summer who was actually my tour manager. So now we only had to pay around $900 each to live there over the summer.
My plan was to find a job while I was there and just go with the flow and If I could permanently move then I would do that.
I met a lot of people and became friends with everyone I could in that 3 months.
I also built up my online businesses, built other streams of income online and all that. I have a full course on how to do affiliate marketing that is 100% free I'll put a link below..
When the 3 months was up the person came back and I said I still wanted to stay there, they told me I could live in their living room for $750 a month. Deal!
From there I had a fall out with that person and actually moved into a small studio apartment that I shared with someone and that was $600 a month for me to put my mattress in the closet.
I didn't care, I was just happy to be in LA.
Not a day went by where I didn't work my butt off and keep trying to find ways to grow, take new opportunities and hustle.
If you want to move to LA, you won't be living a lavish life for a long time but that's the struggle that most people go through when they first move to LA.
You have to pay your dues to be here and stay here.
There were a lot of times where I felt it would just be easier to quit being here and go live in a friends basement for a few hundred bucks a month back in Chicago...
But if I did that.... that was giving up. I fought through the EASY move back to Chicago and because I never gave up, now I am here today.
Moral of the story here is...you just gotta take a risk sometimes and if you overcome the tough times, you will be rewarded.
So now for a quick step by step to do list of how to move to Los Angeles
1) I recommend you move here to the Hollywood area if you can
first off, you are going to love it
But also because this means you don't have to have a car, worry about parking or anything like that.
