Soak In Dead Sea Salt For 15 Minutes And You'll Be Amazed With The Transformation

03:03
Nestled between Jordan, Israel, and Palestine, the Dead Sea is a salt-lake more than 15 million years old. Among the planet’s saltiest bodies of water, the Dead Sea has a salinity of 34.2% – it’s ten times as salty as the ocean. Its salinity creates a harsh environment for flora and fauna, earning the name Dead Sea since precious few microorganisms can survive within it. Check out this 5 amazing things dead sea salt can do 1.Dead Sea Salt is Deeply Hydrating Bathing in a solution of 5% Dead Sea salt improves skin hydration, reduces redness and roughness, and enhances the skin barrier, according to a study published in 2005. Sufferers of atopic dry skin submerged one arm in seawater and the other arm in plain tap water for 15 just minutes. While the salt treated arm showed significant improvements in all areas, the tap water arm showed evidence of further transepidermal water loss. The anti-inflammatory and skin hydrating effects of Dead Sea salt are due to its high magnesium content. Magnesium salts bind to water, which in turn boosts skin absorption and permeability. 2. Dead Sea Salt Cleanses and Disinfects Thanks to sulfur’s natural antibacterial properties, Dead Sea salt is wonderful for cleaning the surface of the skin. Because Dead Sea salt contains only small amounts of sulfur salts, it offers a gentle way to reduce oily skin and clear away acne. 3. It is an Excellent Exfoliator Another way Dead Sea salt helps cleanse the skin is its ability to slough off dead skin cells that can contribute to skin roughness, clogged pores, and blemishes. To make a scrub, combine ½ cup of finely ground Dead Sea salt with ¼ cup of coconut oil. 4. Dead Sea Salt Promotes Youthful Skin In evaluating the effects of Dead Sea salt on aging skin, researchers found that it reduces skin roughness that contributes to fine lines and deep wrinkles. Compared with placebo, a commercially prepared anti-wrinkle gel, and a 1% Dead Sea salt solution, these ointments were applied twice daily for four weeks. While the placebo and anti-wrinkle gel reduced skin roughness by 10% and 27% respectively, the Dead Sea salt treatment was superior in smoothing skin, reducing deep wrinkling by an average of more than 40%.  5.Dead Sea Salt Calms Rheumatoid Arthritis Marked by painful swelling of the joints, rheumatoid arthritis may over time lead to bone erosion and deformity. Though there is no cure, Dead Sea salt therapy has proven to be an effective treatment for many of the symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis. In the study, patients bathed in Dead Sea salt daily for 20 minutes for two weeks. Evaluated by rheumatologists and their own self-assessments, patients showed significant improvements in morning stiffness, 15 meter walk time, hand-grip strength, circumference of joints, the number of active joints, and the activities of daily living.

5 Detox Bath That Can Flush Out Tons Of Toxins From Your Body

02:57
Though it might not be possible to free yourself from toxin exposure forever, there are steps that you can take to improve your body’s efficiency at flushing them out. Taking a detox bath will boost your health and well-being by strengthening the immune-system and lowering your risk of disease. Anxious to see what a detox bath can do for your toxin load? These recipes will get you started. 1.Green Tea Soak You already know how calming a cup of green-tea can be in the midafternoon, so why not enjoy the benefits in a hot bath? Simply run a bath with the hottest water you can handle, and add between 5-10 tea bags to the water, letting them infuse into the water for at least 15-minutes before getting in. Then, pull them out and soak for 30-40 minutes before rinsing off in a cold shower. Your porous skin will appreciate the skin-renewing benefits of green-tea antioxidants. 2.Lavender Detox Bath Recipe Lavender-oil is one of the best all-around essential oils to keep on hand. With a scent soothing enough to relieve even extreme stress, lavender oil can lull you to sleep while also improving skin conditions like eczema and psoriasis. To enjoy its benefits in a detox-bath, mix together one cup each of Epsom-salt and baking-soda, blending in at least ten drops of lavender essential oil. Mix the blend into a hot bath, soaking everything from your neck down for at least 20-minutes. Remember, it’s okay if you fall asleep in this one. That’s one of the benefits of lavender. 3.Bentonite Clay Detox Bath Bentonite clay is presented as a way of taking a heavy metal detox bath since it is said that it draws these metals out through its magnetism. Heavy-metals can enter the body through any number of ways, and chances are if you haven’t cleansed your body of them yet, you have accumulated them over the years. The most common way is just by drinking water that hasn’t been properly filtered. Other ways are through dental work, eating foods that have been treated with certain chemicals, and much more. 4.Oxygen Detox Bath to Clear a Cold Does your skin need a little extra attention these days? Then pull out your trusty container of hydrogen-peroxide and add two or more cups of this detoxification agent into your bathwater. Next, add at least one tablespoon of dried ginger-powder to the water, and soak for at least half an hour. This bath is ideal when you feel a cold coming on, as hydrogen peroxide will clear-up skin infections and ailments, and the ginger powder can clear up congestion and ease aching-joints. 5.Dead Sea Salt Detox As the lowest place on the planet, the Dead Sea is renowned for carrying some of the most minerally-rich salt in the world. You can reap the benefits by setting up a detox-bath with Dead Sea Salts, bentonite-clay, lavender and frankincense essential oils. Together, these oils will relax your mind and body while easing anxiety. How to take a Salt Detox Bath!

07:07
Ever wonder how to take a proper salt detox bath......there are a few little tricks..... A Salt Bath is made with Epsom Salt, also known as magnesium sulfate, which not only draws out toxins, but has health benefits of its own: (www.healthylivinghowto.com) • Ease stress and improves sleep and concentration • Help muscles and nerves function properly • Regulate activity of 325+ enzymes • Help prevent artery hardening and blood clots • Make insulin more effective • Reduce inflammation to relieve pain and muscle cramps • Improve oxygen use • Flush toxins • Improve absorption of nutrients • Help form joint proteins, brain tissue and mucin proteins • Help prevent or ease migraine headaches You may have heard of DEAD SEA SALT BATHS as well. These salts are filled with healing minerals, and can also be used as a detoxification bath, however I have recommended the EPSOM SALTS for a detox bath as they are very affordable. The Dead Sea Salts are fairly pricey, so if you do not require the salts for other healing purposes, I would suggest the Epsom for the detox. STEPS TO DRAW A SALT BATH (DETOX BATH) Prepare for your bath. Get a towel, face-cloth, water bottle, epsom salt, essential oil (if desired) and candles (if desired), possibly baking soda (if your water is chlorinated) Fill your bath with water that is as hot as you can. The idea is to create a sweat. As you fill your bath, add 2 cups Epsom salt, (or 1 cup if it is a smaller bath). If your bath water is not filtered you may want to add a cup of baking soda at this time as well, to help neutralize the chlorine and chemicals. While the tub is filling, lite a few candles and place them around the tub, or bathroom to create a relaxing environment. Do not turn the bathroom main light on, use candle light. When the body is in a relaxed state it has the ability to complete its ‘job’ more easily…like detoxing :) Place your filled water bottle at the edge of the tub, so that you have it accessible to drink while soaking. You will want the water to assist in the cleansing. Place a damp, cool face-cloth (or dry) on the edge of the tub, so that when you get hot you have a cloth to wipe down your face. It helps to stay in the tub longer. Once the tub is filled, add 5-10 drops of essential oil, if so desired. I like lavender in the evening. This is not required, however essential oils have their own healing properties that assist us during this relaxing, detoxing time. I recommend to use one that you enjoy the smell of, like lavender. Do not add essential oil under the running water because the healing properties dissipate quicker when exposed to the oxygen. 2.  Climb in and immerse yourself up to your neck if possible. You will want to soak for at-least 15min, preferably 20min. Be sure to drink all your water. Close your eyes, relax, and maybe do a little breath work. I sometimes bring in spa music to listen to as well, as it helps pass the time. 3. After 15-20min of soaking, it is time to drain the bath. For those of you that like to feel the toxins being pulled out of your body, a neat experience is to lay in the bathtub as the water goes down the drain. You become very aware of the weight of your body. If this is not your thing, simply pull the drain, and rise up slowly and cautiously…you may feel light-headed, even a bit dizzy…..this does go away as soon as you shower off in cooler water. 4. It is important to shower off, as the salt water has pulled the toxins out…you do not want to leave them sitting on your skin to go back in. 5. Its advisable not to use any harsh soaps or shampoos as your pores are open and will absorb those chemicals, kinda defeating your detox :) 6. Once dry you can apply a natural moisturizer. I like to use organic coconut oil or a blend that I make with organic olive oil, grape seed oil and a few drops of rosemary essential oil. (the olive oil does, over time, stain your clothes…but I LOVE how my skin looks and feels…so I don’t mind). These moisturizers are amazing….it may take a couple days for your body to get used to them…but once it does…you will not go back to store bought lotions with dyes, chemicals or perfumes. 7. I recommend not to eat right away after a bath….if anything drink water….to help flush out the toxins. 8. I also recommend to allow for some more rest and rejuvenation after your detox bath, and enjoy your fresh start.

Curing Psoriasis Naturally #32 I HAVE A BATH, SUPPLEMENTS, HOW TO STAY DEDICATED

20:54
This week I take you through my bathing procedure. I use Himalayan pink salt, epsom salt and sodium bicarbonate with coconut oil in my baths. I will sometimes use Dead Sea salt instead of pink salt, whichever is cheaper. Get Dead Sea Salt here: http://amzn.to/2cY8iTv I also talk about my supplement usage. I don't regularly use anything currently except liquid chlorophyll and PH drops. I will use vitamin D3 & K2 tablets once a week or so, along with magnesium. In my healing pathway during the initial detox phase I used: Caprylic acid (anti-candida), oil of oregano (anti-candida), milk thistle (liver protection), acidophillus (probiotic), kefir (probiotic). I don't use these any more as I think my body is balanced enough to look after itself now. I also talk about how I pushed through the hard times during my healing. Around this time my psoriasis was flaring from detox, and Penny was very ill showing her first signs of having a brain tumour. I also had an accident at work around this time resulting in me knocking myself out on a toilet and needing stitches in my face. The main thing that kept me going was that I had faith that my journey would come to fruition. I also wanted to show my viewers that no matter what happens, you can do this. This channel is real life, someone in front of you dealing with the trials of an everyday person while battling psoriasis at the same time. My desire to inspire other people was stronger than my will to give up. Skin-wise, everything is great this week. The last few dots seem to be moving along and I feel great. Penny continues to astonish me with every day and I'm so thankful for her fighting so hard to stay with me. She is doing very well. Dead Sea Bath Salts

04:04
http://www.LivingSunFoods.blogspot.com This weekend I was grocery shopping and out of the corner of my eye I caught the bath salts sitting on the shelf. I've been wanting to try these for sometime so I picked up the lavender scented one. The salts are very rich in magnesium chloride, a particular kind of salt. The minerals are absorbed through the skin while soaking in the bathtub. This allows for an increase in blood circulation throughout the body. Interesting facts about the Dead Sea: - Contains ten times as much salt compared to other sea water - 12-18% of Dead Sea Salt is sodium chloride compared to 97% of the salt that is found in the regular ocean water - Because the Dead Sea is so dense with salt, it allows you to float more easily. Have you ever used Dead Sea Mineral Bath Salts or Epsom Salt and if so what was your experience?

This is definately a staple to have in the closet of bath products this year, there are so many uses. Provides relief from Psoriasis, Eczema, and Arthritis symptoms. Formulated with over 26 essential minerals the body needs for natural soothing and relaxation. Sea Salt contains 10 times more minerals than ordinary sea salt, minerals which assist in cleansing, detoxifying and restoring a healthy status quo to the body, especially the skin and muscles. Dead Sea Salts are very dry and absorb essential oils with ease, enabling the oils to be easily released into the bath water as the salts dissolve. This is beneficial for your aromatherapy in the privacy of your own home. Just a few minerals and naturally occurring found in the Dead Sea Salt: Sulfur is necessary for the secretion of bile from the liver and for converting toxins into non-toxins. Sulfur is found in the amino acids cysteine, and methionine; as well as in cells, hemoglobin, collagen, keratin, insulin, heparin, biotin and co-enzyme A. Chlorine is necessary to maintain the correct balance of alkaline and acid in the body, together with being vital for cell metabolism Iodine is necessary for the production of the hormone thyroxin, and is also vital for both energy and cell metabolism Potassium is necessary to maintain the water balance in order for cell metabolism to take place, assisting the cells to absorb nourishment and expel waste products. 02:53
http://fastpsoriasiscure.healthyskinblog.com Salt from the Dead Sea for Psoriasis The Dead Sea minerals are beneficial for drawing out toxins and restoring nutrients back into the skin, which in turn helps to alleviate the symptoms of psoriasis. Psoriatic arthritis is a condition where in the psoriasis spreads to the joints and causes inflammation around them. The salt from the Dead Sea seems to be effective against both psoriasis and arthritis. The effectiveness of Dead Sea salt for psoriasis can be noticed in only one week. Nevertheless, it can take up to a month in order to eliminate all the symptoms. There are many products of the Dead Sea for psoriasis, which can be purchased and used at home. Bath products include Dead Sea salt as well as Dead Sea mud. Both of these products should be used as instructed in order to be effective. The baths can be very relaxing as the minerals and salts draw the toxins out of the skin and into the bathwater. Dead Sea for psoriasis treatments can also help with other skin conditions, such as dry skin and inflammation. This benefit is largely due to the high concentrations of magnesium that is found in the Dead Sea solution. Acne and eczema are also skin problems that can be helped with regular care. Besides psoriatic arthritis, Dead Sea salt baths can also help with various other forms of arthritis, including osteoarthritis. Visit the website. A Mud Bath At The Dead Sea Of Jordan

05:26
The Dead Sea (Hebrew: יָם הַמֶּלַח‎ About this sound Yam ha-Melah lit. Salt Sea, Arabic: البحر الميت‎‎ About this sound Al-Bahr al-Mayyit[5]), is a salt lake bordered by Jordan to the east and Israel and Palestine to the west. Its surface and shores are 430.5 metres (1,412 ft) below sea level,[4][6] Earth's lowest elevation on land. The Dead Sea is 304 m (997 ft) deep, the deepest hypersaline lake in the world. With 34.2% salinity (in 2011), it is 9.6 times as salty as the ocean, and one of the world's saltiest bodies of water.[7] This salinity makes for a harsh environment in which plants and animals cannot flourish, hence its name. The Dead Sea is 50 kilometres (31 mi) long and 15 kilometres (9 mi) wide at its widest point.[1] It lies in the Jordan Rift Valley and its main tributary is the Jordan River. The Dead Sea has attracted visitors from around the Mediterranean basin for thousands of years. It was one of the world's first health resorts (for Herod the Great), and it has been the supplier of a wide variety of products, from asphalt for Egyptian mummification to potash for fertilizers. People also use the salt and the minerals from the Dead Sea to create cosmetics and herbal sachets. The Dead Sea water has a density of 1.24 kg/litre, which makes swimming similar to floating.[8][9] The Dead Sea is receding at an alarming rate. Multiple canals and pipelines were proposed to reduce its recession, which had begun causing many problems. The Red Sea–Dead Sea Water Conveyance project, carried out by Jordan, will provide water to neighboring countries, while the brine will be carried to the Dead Sea to help stabilize its levels. The first phase of the project is scheduled to begin in 2018 and be completed in 2021. The Dead Sea area has become a location for health research and potential treatment for several reasons. The mineral content of the water, the low content of pollens and other allergens in the atmosphere, the reduced ultraviolet component of solar radiation, and the higher atmospheric pressure at this great depth each may have specific health effects. For example, persons experiencing reduced respiratory function from diseases such as cystic fibrosis seem to benefit from the increased atmospheric pressure.[30] The region's climate and low elevation have made it a popular center for assessment of putative therapies: Climatotherapy: Treatment which exploits local climatic features such as temperature, humidity, sunshine, barometric pressure and special atmospheric constituents Heliotherapy: Treatment that exploits the biological effects of the sun's radiation Thalassotherapy: Treatment that exploits bathing in Dead Sea water Psoriasis Climatotherapy at the Dead Sea may be a therapy for psoriasis[31] by sunbathing for long periods in the area due to its position below sea level and subsequent result that UV rays are partially blocked by the increased cloud cover over the Dead Sea.[32] Rhinosinusitis Rhinosinusitis patients receiving Dead Sea saline nasal irrigation exhibited improved symptom relief compared to standard hypertonic saline spray in one study.[33] Osteoarthritis Dead Sea mud pack therapy has been suggested to temporarily relieve pain in patients with osteoarthritis of the knees. According to researchers of the Ben Gurion University of the Negev, treatment with mineral-rich mud compresses can be used to augment conventional medical therapy. Natural history There are two contending hypotheses about the origin of the low elevation of the Dead Sea. The older hypothesis is that the Dead Sea lies in a true rift zone, an extension of the Red Sea Rift, or even of the Great Rift Valley of eastern Africa. A more recent hypothesis is that the Dead Sea basin is a consequence of a "step-over" discontinuity along the Dead Sea Transform, creating an extension of the crust with consequent subsidence. Around 3.7 million years ago,[citation needed] what is now the valley of the Jordan River, Dead Sea, and the northern Wadi Arabah was repeatedly inundated by waters from the Mediterranean Sea. The waters formed in a narrow, crooked bay that is called by geologists the Sedom Lagoon, which was connected to the sea through what is now the Jezreel Valley. The floods of the valley came and went depending on long-scale climate change. The Sedom Lagoon[17] deposited beds of salt that eventually became 2.5 km (1.55 mi) thick.

How to make Bath Salt: DIY bath salt

08:33
Homemade bath salts allow you the most flexibility when it comes to choosing the types of salts you would like to use. Whether you purchase or make bath salts, the bath salt recipe or ingredient list, the best bath salts have Epsom salt. Benefits of Epsom salt baths include increased relaxation as well as reduced muscle pain and fatigue as magnesium from the Epsom salt bath is absorbed through the skin into the body. Magnesium found in Epsom salt baths is involved in many different body processes. If your levels are too low then you are at greater risk for heart troubles and diabetes. Epsom salts can be purchased at your local drug store for a reasonable price. Homemade bath salts with Epsom Salt in a bath help your health including tired, achy feet. When you make bath salts, choose salts that do not have extra iodine added, so NO TABLE SALT. Iodine will sting on any open cuts. Dead Sea salt typically doesn’t have added iodine, but check regular sea salt carefully. At the grocery store pickling salt is a safe choice; though I usually use sea salt as Dead Sea salt can be expensive. Because of other trace minerals it’s also not white; instead it’s more of a grayish color. Found in many health food stores, pink Himalayan salt as part of a bath salt recipe adds beautiful color as well as trace elements. Natural colorants for bath salt recipes include turmeric and sea weed powders. You can use food coloring for homemade bath salt too. My personal bath salt recipe includes baking soda which soothes cuts or abrasions. Together with Epsom salt and sea salt it makes a nice combination. For muscle pain relief I add essential oils, such as peppermint, eucalyptus, bergamot and lavender, which also causes the body to relax and increase blood circulation though you are free to add any fragrance you wish including perfumes that need to be used up. To make sure the scent stays, do what my mom does and store them in the cool, dark, dry place or I, as a chemist, cheat and use a fixative called dendritic salt. It’s a highly purified version of table salt with a greater surface area. This can be purchased from various soap supply stores. You can also add powdered milk to your homemade bath salts to make a milk bath. Since many of my friends are vegan, I shy away from things like that, but you are welcome to try it out. Let me know in the comments how your creations turned out. Usually with people use floral scents with milk baths, but feel free to try different combinations.
