So if you’re feeling totally lost on how to pitch your business, then here are 3 steps to follow which will entice people to want to know more. Step 1 of how to pitch your business in 60 seconds The problem. As a business, you exist to solve a problem potential clients might have. You are there to ease pain points. So that’s where you start. Address the problems your business solves. Steve So why does this work? Because it simplifies what you do to a level anyone can understand and allows people to build an image of your business that’s comfortable to them. Step 2 of how to pitch your business in 60 seconds The solution Ideally, you want to try and tell a story relating to your business. Something that sums up an achievement or something you’re proud of. So why does this work? There are plenty of industries out there, for examples accounts or personal trainers, that to the average person all offer the same thing. Telling a story that’s unique to you will set you apart. You won’t find another accountant with the same story and the passion you tell it with will engage anyone listening. Step three of how to pitch your business in 60 seconds Sell the mission Our mission is to put people back at the front of businesses. So we don’t need to talk about how we do this using video, that’s just a tool that gets us a result. Focus on the sole reason for your businesses existence. So if you’ve come this far in the video and are thinking “I don’t have a mission” You probably do but you just need to spend a bit of time thinking about exactly what it is. So there we have it. Three steps on how to pitch your business in 60 seconds.

It's a platform for managing, storing, and processing data online through the internet. Some of the cloud computing features include the following: - On-Demand Services – Available when you need it - Network Access – When using the internet as your medium - Shared Resources – All resources are gathered together and used by multiple customers - Scalability - The ability of a computer system to adapt to increasing demands The Three Delivery Models: Cloud computing provides different services based on three delivery configurations. When they are arranged in a pyramid structure, they are in the order of SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS. The Three Services: #SaaS - Software as a Service This service provides on-demand pay per use of the application software for users and is independent of a platform. You do not have to install software on your computer, unlike a license paid program. Cloud runs a single occurrence of the software, making it available for multiple end-users allowing the service to be cheap. All the computing resources that are responsible for delivering SaaS are totally managed by the vendor. The service is accessible through a web browser or lightweight client applications. End customers use SaaS regularly. The most popular SaaS providers offer the following products and services: Google Ecosystem including Gmail, Google Docs, Google Drive, Microsoft Office 365, and SalesForce. #PaaS - Platform as a Service This service is mostly a development environment that is made up of a programming language execution environment, an operating system, web server, and database. It provides an environment where users can build, compile, and run their program without worrying about an hidden infrastructure. You manage the data and application resources. All the other resources are managed by the vendor. This is the realm for developers. PaaS providers offer the following products and services: Amazon Web services, Elastic Beanstalk, Google App Engine, Windows Azure, Heroku, and Force.com #IaaS - Infrastructure as a Service This service provides the architecture and infrastructure. It provides all computing resources but in a virtual environment so multiple users can have access. The resources include data storage, virtualization, servers, and networking. Most vendors are responsible for managing them. If you use this service, you are responsible for handling other resources including applications, data, runtime, and middleware. This is mostly for SysAdmins. IaaS providers offer the following products and services: Amazon EC2, Go Grid, and Rackspace.com. Here is a short list of some companies that use cloud computing: iCloud – Cloud from Apple is for Apple products. You can backup and store everything from multimedia to documents online. The content is then smoothly integrated onto your devices. Amazon's AWS - When you talk about companies using cloud computing, Amazon Web Services leads the pack. It offers IaaS and PaaS to all their customers. Google Cloud – This cloud platform is universal for Google's enormous ecosystem and for other products such as Microsoft Office. It provides storage of data and collaboration along with other services that are included in their cloud computing suite. Microsoft Azure – Offered by Microsoft, it provides SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS for its software and developer tools. If you have used Office 365, then you have used SaaS. IBM Smart Cloud - This offers private, public, and hybrid distribution platforms providing a full range of SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS cloud computing services for businesses. The pay as you go platform generates profits for IBM. New technology is popping up all over the internet and Cloud seems to be on the rise. In this video he provides helpful sales tips on how up-sell and how to cross-sell What is up selling? Up-selling is positioning a superior product at a better price. It is finding opportunities to sell a more profitable product. Selling the lowest priced product will generate the lowest profit per product. Sell the best product to the customer. In this way you are saying "I am offering you the best because you deserve the best". In the meantime, cross-selling is selling or offering related products to the customer, for example offering a printer, a mouse or paper with a purchase of a computer.

The New Costco Item People Are Going Crazy Over
Costco has a reputation for selling all manner of bulk items, from 30-roll packs of toilet paper to ginormous jars full of olives to bulk packs of canned tomato sauce. Sometimes, though, it's not just the package size that's bigger, it's the actual product itself that's supersized. Want a 4-foot tall wine glass that holds 25 bottles of merlot? Costco has you covered. How about a 5-pound lobster claw that doesn't look like it could possibly have come from nature? They've got those, too. 7-pound tubs of chocolate-hazelnut Nutella goodness? You know they've done it. But the latest and greatest supersized offering from the warehouse store is enough to satisfy any donut lover. In June 2019, Costco introduced Australia to the magnificent Handmade Jumbo Iced Donut. This glorious confection is jumbo indeed, reportedly weighing in at nearly 2 pounds. It's basically a cake in donut form. Based on the ingredient list, we can confirm that it's made with "donut premix," cluing us in that the texture should be decidedly more donut-like than cake-like. It also comes complete with "strawberry flavored fondant mix," which means that the pink frosting will be berry-flavored. On top of that, you've got more sweetness in the form of mini M&M's and rainbow sprinkles. While reports of the larger-than-life donut have been dominating news feeds across the country, you'll be disappointed to learn that you won't be able to pop into your local Costco to pick one up. That's because this pink-frosted dream is only being offered at select warehouse stores in Australia. To make matters worse for those of us who can't get our hands on one, it's being sold for about $11 in U.S. currency, which is a total steal considering its size. As to whether Americans will be able to get their hands on the confection, don't hold your breath. Costco told FOXBusiness that they had "no further information" as to whether the donut would be offered at U.S. stores in the future, although they did add that the product had been selling well. Hopefully that means that if they continue to fly off the shelf, the giant donuts might roll on over to the USA. This isn't the first time that Homer Simpson-inspired donuts have made a splash Down Under; in 2018, Krispy Kreme Australia launched the limited edition Simpsons' D'ohnut, and although this treat was standard-sized, it featured strawberry-flavored white chocolate truffle icing and was topped with rainbow sprinkles, similar to the treatment the Costco behemoth gets. Outside-the-box donuts tend to create a bit of a stir on the web, and if the reaction to Costco's giant donut is any indication, it doesn't look like this trend is going to stop anytime soon. Looking back, it seems like the crazier the better is the right approach to donuts, with creations like the sushi donut and the Flamin' Hot Cheetos grilled cheese donut causing our collective mouths to water and our brows to furrow, all at the same time. Sure, they're not your typical deep-fried dough donuts, but you have to admit that turning everyday foods into donuts makes them way more interesting. While donuts covered in raw fish might not be for everyone, we can all agree that a regular pink doughnut on steroids is something we all need in our lives. Come on, Costco, bring this baby stateside already. In the meantime, we'll just have to console ourselves with another one of the store's famous desserts that is available in the U.S: The Kirkland Signature All-American Chocolate Cake. The Business Model Canvas is comprised of 9 key segments: The left hand section of the Business Model Canvas is the Infrastructure section and comprises three key areas: Key Activities: The most important activities in executing a company's value proposition. Key Resources: The resources that are necessary to create value for the customer. Partner Network: In order to optimize operations and reduce risks of a business model, organization usually cultivate buyer-supplier relationships so they can focus on their core activity. The middle section of the canvas describes the business offering and is the value proposition delivered to different customer segments. Value Propositions: The collection of products and services a business offers to meet the needs of its customers. According to Osterwalder, (2004), a company's value proposition is what distinguishes itself from its competitors. The value proposition provides value through various elements such as newness, performance, customization, "getting the job done", design, brand/status, price, cost reduction, risk reduction, accessibility, and convenience/usability. The value propositions may be: Quantitative – price and efficiency Qualitative – overall customer experience and outcome The right hand side of the Business Model Canvas describes the customers, the channels through which you deliver services and and the relationships you have with your customers. Customer Segments: To build an effective business model, a company must identify which customers it tries to serve. Various sets of customers can be segmented based on the different needs and attributes to ensure appropriate implementation of corporate strategy meets the characteristics of selected group of clients. Channels: A company can deliver its value proposition to its targeted customers through different channels. They just see a few sentences, maybe a picture. You think they're going to buy? No, that's why over 95, 98, 99% of your visitors don't convert. And it's why you're creating eCommerce products, putting them on your store and you're like, huh, why am I not getting any sales? It's because of the copy. You're not interacting with the person. When you go to a physical store, you're interacting potentially with a salesperson. That salesperson guides you, they help you, they, oh, you need this size to try on for this shirt? Oh, this looks good, oh no, that doesn't look good, you shouldn't get that, but instead, you should get this. You don't have that on the web. So, what do you have to do to convince people to buy? You need persuasive copy. So now that you know that it's persuasive copy, let's go over a few things that you can do to make sure that your copy is truly persuasive. One, talk about the benefit. It's not just about hey, I'm selling this product, it's about the solution that, that product is giving people to their problems. For example, if you're selling toilet paper, and toilet paper, the one that you're selling is so soft people don't have a rough bum from that, your solution is ultra-soft toilet paper. It'll make you feel like your bum is sitting on clouds. I'm making it up. And if your reviews on that page enforce that, you're going to get more sales, right? So, you have to talk about the solution and the benefit that your solution is providing. The second tip I have for you, persuasive copy isn't just copy. A picture says a thousand words. So, if your pictures are amazing in your eCommerce product, you'll do really well. Taking professional pictures, 360 degree view cameras, showcasing your products, all this stuff will help boost sales and conversions. The third thing, reviews. The copy isn't just about how much can you convince people to buy your product, it's also how much can other people convince others to buy your product. You need a lot of reviews on your site. Whether they're bad reviews or good reviews, let them all through because they'll help tell other people if they should be buying your product. And the fourth tip when it comes to persuasive copy, you need to make sure you go really in-depth on every little thing that your product provides. Every feature, every nook and cranny of it. Think about any objections someone has when it comes to buying your product. If you answer all those objections in the copy, you'll get more sales. And the last tip I have for you, your copy doesn't end on your product page. From your checkout page to the thank you page, all of that's copy. If you can optimize your checkout page and be like get this delivered to you within two days, emphasizing free shipping, things like that can help boost your sales. Using a two-step checkout instead of a one-step checkout, that of course, helps boost sales as well. Doing things like on your thank you page after they checkout, upselling more products and services, that of course, boosts sales.
