Azov sea quiet water
The Azov sea is the northeastern side basin, connected with the Black sea with the Kerch Strait (the Cimmerian Bosporus at the ancient times) 4,2 km wide. It is the most shallow sea in the world with the depth of about 15 meters. There are sand spits along the sea coast. The water temperature average in summer is +22o +26oС, in winter 0o+1oС. The sea is shallow, warm and rich in biological diversity. The Azov sea has always attracted visitors due to its peculiar beauty, irresistible fascination and incredible magnetic force. The Azov sea coast has always been a favorite resort for many people, considered to be a low-cost recreation area for pleasant family leisure. Thus, there is no reason to travel far abroad to the fashionable resorts. The clear air, wonderful smell of the blossoming steppe herbs and the sea, particular landscape with salt and mud lakes, blue creeks and estuaries, mild climate, wide beaches, covered with sand and small shell rocks - all these you can find at the Azov sea. The permanent and moderate sun radiation regime allows to sunbathe regularly and safely. The Golden beaches of the Azov seacoast are the wonderful place for sand bathing.

5 Most Unique Beaches In The World!
For most of us, our normal run-of-the-mill beaches are those that are arc of golden sand, glistening, with clear blue waters and palm trees swaying gently in the breeze. Let’s slowly close our eyes and imagine that for a second. I’m sorry to be the one breaking this, but the most unique beaches in the world do not follow this mantra. They are your not-so-conventional types of beaches. Sure, you’ll find them quirky but also very different and beautiful just like these 5 Most Unique Beaches In The World! Lets begin! 1. The Hidden Beach Whoa! Is what left my mouth when I saw this beauty. Unless you know it is there, you have to be high up to spot Playa da Amor on the Marieta Islands in Mexico. All good things have a history behind them. This beautiful beach front has a violent past. It was formed when the area was used by the Mexican Government for bomb testing. I’m not sure why the government chose this particular spot. Anyway, these tests led to a huge hole that was blasted into the sea cliff. Well, what was left of it was a truly stunning swimming spot. Travelers cannot get enough of it! 2. The Glowing Beach Imagine a starry night sky after dark. Now imagine that on an ocean front. The Maldivian gives this spectacular view to its visitors. It is certainly fit for fairytale royalty. It is an incredible sight that is attributed to phytoplankton which glows when disturbed. Question is, whose bugging these planktons? Whoever is doing so, keep at it! These phytoplanktons are quite abundant along the shores of the Maldives which makes the sight even more beautiful. That would probably explain why they are a favorite honeymoon destination. 3. The Hot Water Beach Forget Jacuzzis and the like. Imagine a hot bubbling bath provided by underground springs. You can sit there the whole day, though I would strongly advise against it. Health reasons you know. This is what visitors to the Coromandel Peninsula in New Zealand enjoy. Well, it takes a little bit of work to get that bath up and running. You’ll find tourists with spades because they know that a little bit of work will bring huge rewards. You don’t have to dig too far to create this ‘amazing’ geothermal spring water. It peaks at 147 degrees Fahrenheit. Nowhere on earth does anything come close to this! 4. The Green Beach At first glance, you may think this beach is covered in moss. Not at all. The bright green appearance of the Papakolea Beach in Hawaii derives its bright green appearance from the native sand that lines its shores. The origin of the color? From a nearby volcano which produces the green mineral olivine. It is one of the only four green beaches in the world. No wonder it is a wonderful peculiar destination for any traveler. 5. The Desert Beach If you thought deserts are found only in arid areas, then you have certainly not met the beach at the Lencois Maranhenses National Park in Brazil. This beach is not by the seaside as you would anticipate. It is located far, far away from any water body. Heard of lagoons? Every year, continuous rainfall floods the National Park. This results in beautiful lagoons fringed with perfect white sands. If you plan to visit the park, I would suggest May to September. You’ll have the time of your life. Fish can even be spotted in the water during these peak months. October would not be a good time. You wouldn’t see much: the lagoons are usually completely dried up as they await replenishment in February. What are you waiting for? Get your ticket for Brazil! 8 Places You Should Never Swim In (Even If You Want To)
There are lots of amazing outdoor swimming areas in the world. Some of them are safe and protected with lifeguards watching over you while you swim, bathe, dive off rocks, and play in the water. But some beaches are not just unsafe — they’re outright dangerous! Here are 8 places where you should never attempt a swim if you treasure your health and life. TIMESTAMPS: Blue Holes 1:03 Colorful Pools 2:15 Laguna Caliente 4:18 Nyiragongo Crater's Lava Lake 5:16 Pink Lake 6:19 New Smyrna Beach 8:12 Frying Pan Lake 9:22 Eagle's Nest Sinkhole 10:22 Music: https://www.youtube.com/audiolibrary/music SUMMARY: - Most blue holes are open to the public. However, some of the biggest ones have acquired a really bad reputation among divers. - It's hard to believe that nature created something as colorful as the thermal pools located in Yellowstone National Park. They look like something from another world: bright, beautiful...and deadly. - Laguna Caliente is located in Costa Rica and differs dramatically from its sibling, Botos Lake. These 2 bodies of water are crater lakes of the Poas Volcano. - Mount Nyiragongo, which is situated in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, is an active volcano. Its last eruption took place in 2002. In its crater, there's a lake. But it’s not your typical lake. - Lake Hillier in Western Australia is indeed as pink as it looks. This is a shallow salt lake that’s beautifully edged with white salt formations and surrounded by eucalyptus forests. - New Smyrna Beach has been called the “Shark Capital of the World” by the International Shark Attack File. In 2008, almost 40% of all shark attacks on the planet happened in this region. - If you look at the photo of Frying Pan Lake in New Zealand, you might think that there's fog hanging low over the water. Similar fog (or, more precisely, steam) forms over warm water on a cold morning. - Eagle's Nest Sinkhole is a body of water in Florida that looks like an ordinary pond. It’s only when you get into the water that it gets dangerous. Beneath the lake, there's a huge system of underwater caves with rooms and passages that spread for miles. Warm ocean temperatures could harm coral reefs
No, it's not a plant. Coral is considered a living animal! Reefs are also home to 25 percent of marine creatures, can grow to be hundreds of miles long, and protect both the life that lives in them and the land that sits behind them. If You See This While Swimming, Get Out Of the Water Right Away!
How to Stay Safe While Swimming. Swimming is a great way to stay fit and healthy, plus it’s quite relaxing, no wonder so many people enjoy it. But most people would never dream that some encounters with ocean inhabitants can turn out to be fatal. You should know that even the prettiest and smallest creatures dwelling in the seas and oceans can seriously harm you. And while some of them leave you hurting from nasty bites, others can kill you outright. In this video, you'll get acquainted with the 10 deadliest water inhabitants. TIMESTAMPS Stingray 1:52 Lionfish 3:16 Flower Urchin 4:08 Indonesian Needlefish 5:12 Electric Eel 6:05 Barracuda 6:43 Blue-Ringed Octopus 7:36 Reef Stonefish 8:51 Textile Cone Snail 10:37 Box Jellyfish 12:30 Music: https://www.youtube.com/audiolibrary/music SUMMARY -Stingrays live in tropical and subtropical waters that are shallow and warm. There have been cases where people died after an unfortunate encounter with this fish. -Lionfish can be spotted in both the South Pacific Ocean and the Caribbean Sea. They have numerous needle-sharp pelvic, dorsal, and anal fins - which all contain venom. -Urchins have venom in their triangular-shaped arms. That venom causes convulsions, spasms of the smooth muscle, paralysis, shock, and death. -Indonesian needlefish resemble daggers and swim near the surface of the water. Their long sharp jaws turn needlefish into 3-ft-long spears. There have been cases where people happened to be in the way of these creatures. -Electric eels live in the Amazon and Orinoco Rivers. These unusual fish can deliver a huge 600-volt electrical discharge. Such a voltage can easily result in heart failure in humans. -Barracudas live in tropical waters, deep oceans, along continental shelves, or close to coral reefs. They aren't venomous, but the real danger is their scary sharp teeth. -Blue-ringed octopuses live in coral reefs and tide pools in the Indian and Pacific Ocean. The most dangerous thing about the bite of the blue-ringed octopus is that it’s practically painless. Victims start to suspect that something is wrong only when they start to suffocate and become paralyzed. -Reef stonefish are the most venomous fish on our planet. It's super easy to step on this fish. Stonefish have a row of spines along their back. If they feel threatened, they extend these spines and use them to deliver their venom. -The textile cone snail is at the top of the list of the most dangerous creatures in the world. One drop of the venom this snail produces can kill 20 people. -Box jellyfish are hunters. They can easily latch onto people by wrapping their slender tentacles around a person's limb or body. Since 1954, there have been almost 5,600 recorded deaths from box jellyfish attacks. In Shallow Seas We Sail - Emery + Lyrics
This is the 6th song from Emery's "...In Shallow Seas We Sail" (c) by Tooth & Nail Records I got eyes in the back of my head and I, see where you're going with this I'm not surprised You take me for a fool, maybe you're right If I was wiser I would not have let myself come here tonight You sold yourself, you'll never learn (You sold yourself...) Here I am watching the summer fading (The summer we shared fade away with the winter) Your hands were warm on my face. Now they're cold, pushing away (Your hands were warm now...) Slowly now (Colder than ice and they are slowly pushing me away) Pushing me away I knew it (I knew it) right from the start I got this big, big hole in my heart I wanted (I wanted) to put you in But for some reason you just wouldn't fit You just wouldn't fit You sold yourself, You'll never learn (You sold yourself...) Here I am watching the summer fading (The summer we shared fade away with the winter) Your hands were warm on my face. Now they're cold, pushing away (Your hands were warm now...) Slowly now (Colder than ice and they are slowly pushing me away) Pushing me away, pushing me away, pushing me away Lust can give a man so many regrets Just this once is what we tell ourselves Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh Ships don't sink if they have wind in their sails But if the wind fails is there hope for me (I guess your love, was only as safe..) I thought your love was safe as promise you made(..as the promise you made...) Now I am drowning in your shallow sea; I swim (you are the storm, the wind and the waves, you break me in two and toss me away) You are the waves that toss me in. (I fell apart when I fell for you) How can I float above the water that fills my lungs? (you are the water filing my lungs, killing me softly without a word) Killing me softly without a word. (Without a word)

Rigging Soft Plastic Lures, Making the shallow corkscrew rig
This is a very popular pike rig and great alternative to using jig head and stingers. It is really great for shallow water in summer when the pike come in to warm up and chase bait. The rear hook reduces those tail nips pike often like to give that get you all excited but seldom result in fish. Track1 Waves, Track2 Loudness & Clarity https://soundcloud.com/joakimkarud Watch yourself guys and girls (Health and Safety and disclaimer), I know there are few younger people eager to make lures so I would like to point out I do this for fun but there is risk of injury from the methods I use. I wear glasses when messing with wire because bits of it can fly off when cutting with snips and do some real damage to your eyes. Also wire and spinning things is not a great combination I used a cordless drill to wind up the wire as it is slow and also cut the wire into short lengths. If you are going to try this DO NOT TRY THIS WITH AN ELECTRIC DRILL. Lastly you can buy all the bits I made like the corkscrew and pins but that is not as fun or as risky. Tools and Material 124lb American fishing wire a great alternative to this is .6 -0 .8mm s/steel mig welding wire Jewellry Pliers, these can be bought on e-bay or amazon for about £4-£10 often called round to concave jewellery pliers Roll pins, I bought a selection box of these from ebay via China cost about £10, Basically the barrel wraps should fit snuggly inside the roll pin and tag of the wire should pass through the slot, so whichever size suits your wire. With the selection box and heavier wires you can make very large corkscrews for much bigger baits. Cordless drill, the reason for using a cordless drill is it can be slowed down, DO NOT TRY THIS WITH AN ELECTRIC DRILL. For the stinger wire I normally 7 strand coated stainless steel between 20-30lb and crimps that will allow me to pass the the wire through three times snuggly . The crimping pliers are Savage Gear but most lure companies do something similar. There are other methods for making these screws and I have included a couple of links below to other videos from MEL Lures and Mikko's version from Solarbaits MEL Lures https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ARjfBywRI34 Solarbaits Video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6wWlZ675FgA&t=495s

Slowly now (Colder than ice and they are slowly pushing me away) Pushing me away, pushing me away, pushing me away Lust can give a man so many regrets Just this once is what we tell ourselves Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh Ships don't sink if they have wind in their sails But if the wind fails is there hope for me (I guess your love, was only as safe..) I thought your love was safe as promise you made (..as the promise you made...) Now I am drowning in your shallow sea; I swim (you are the storm, the wind and the waves, you break me in two and toss me away) You are the waves that toss me in. (I fell apart when I fell for you) How can I float above the water that fills my lungs? (you are the water filing my lungs, killing me softly without a word) Killing me softly without a word. (Without a word)

Whale shark at Maamigili, Maldives
On recent liveaboard trips in the Maldives I was lucky enough to see a few whale sharks and snorkel with them. These plankton eating giants gather at certain spots during their oceanwide migrations to feed in warm shallow water. Being in the right place at the right time allows snorkelers to swim along until their stamina runs out. The encounters, while magical and breathtaking, left me with an unsatified feeling. Not only did it take forever to spot a shark or two, but the animals were frequently assailed to the point that I left the water rather than watch the spectacle of dozens of tourists chasing the poor creature off into the deep.

How to Catch Bass in Deep Water
http://www.justinrackley.com/ Hey fellow fishing freaks! This video is the extra long educational version of the deep water structure fishing montage. Click the link to check it out! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p4MsRkngJaA I'm hoping that this will answer some of the questions you guys have had about finding and catching bass on offshore structure. There are lots of ways to catch them, but here I show a few of my favorite techniques that I have caught fish on at a variety of lakes. If you have a big high dollar graph or a small cheapo, learning what fish look like on your electronics is critical for knowing if you are in the right place to catch fish. If you are having trouble understanding what you are staring at on your graph, I recommend taking a day and studying your graph, and stopping to fish when you think you see some good cover, structure, of fish. That is the best way to learn how to translate what is on the graph to what you feel underwater.

Fishing Palk Bay
In the south eastern coast of India lies an 100 km long and 40km wide shallow warm sea, which sustains an unique ecosystem. In the past the Palk Bay was known as an area where traders could find bountiful natural pearls, but now due to mechanized fishing, the ecosystem has diminished. There are still people who follow traditional fishing practices, which are sustainable and have a small footprint on the fragile underwater ecosystem.

How to Catch Trout in Shallow Water
Trout fishing is a lot like real estate as it can often be all about location. Being in the right place at the right time can help you cash in on hungry schools of trout and a full box. Luckily, Sportsman TV hooked up with Capt. Travis Miller to show them around Dularge to check out the prime trout territories. Like a seasoned agent, Travis delivered and made sure Sportsman TV host Greg Hackney got the best deal on speckled trout. For his third appearance on Sportsman TV Miller began the morning by targeting trout in a large lake in Dularge. The trout were schooled up under a flock of birds feeding on shrimp. In the episode Travis breaks down what to expect when fishing flocks of birds and how to target that scenario. After reeling in a mix of throwbacks and keepers, Miller took Hackney to another area to look for larger trout. The area they found next produced and average of 14-16 inch trout. Miller focused on a large flat with 2 feet of water. He chose this area because of the shallow water. A cold front had pushed through days before and the trout were using the flat to warm up in mid-morning hours. In the show, Miller details how to find similar flats and when to fish them. He also shows viewers what tackle to use to fish the conditions they experienced that day. Along with useful information, the duo of Hackney and Miller take plenty time to cut up and have a good time. The show proved to be a very informative and entertaining episode for trout fishermen. You can watch the show tonight, March 22, on Cox Sports Television at 6:30 p.m. To check local listings for CST. Sportsman TV will air every week on CST through Aug. 31 on Thursdays at 6:30 p.m., Saturdays at 8:30 a.m. and Sundays at 9 a.m. If you don’t have access to CST, you can watch the show on our YouTube channel or right here on LouisianaSportsman.com in the coming week.

Creation v. Evolution: How Carbon Dating Works
Recently Bill Nye and Ken Ham had a debate regarding the validity of evolution and creationism. This debate mixed with the recent discovery of the earliest known human footprints outside Africa is leading a big question to arise: How does carbon dating work? Well, Trace did some digging and is here to tell you all about carbon dating and other ways we can know the age of an object or fossil. GET THE RECIPE BOX: http://bit.ly/Recipe-Boxes GET THE RECIPE: http://bit.ly/Fish-n-Chips-Recipe_ MACHO PEAS VIDEO: http://bit.ly/Macho-Peas-Vid TARTARE SAUCE VIDEO: http://bit.ly/Tartare-Sauce-Vid A unique method for flavouring and cooking tofu along with the crisp batter and chunky chips make this the best vegan fish & chips recipe on the net.  ★Patreon: http://bit.ly/Patreon-Page ★Instagram: http://bit.ly/Instagram-Page ★Facebook: http://bit.ly/Faceboook-Page ___________________________________ INGREDIENTS Tofu-Fish’ Fillets 1 firm or extra-firm tofu block (I used Cauldron tofu) Fine sea salt 1 Tbsp nori sprinkles (or 1 nori-sheet, blended or finely chopped) 8 toothpicks 0.5-1 litre (17-34 fl oz) Sunflower/vegetable oil for shallow frying (or similar) 1 lemon, cut into wedges (for garnish & tartare sauce) Batter 60g (half cup) plain flour 60g (half cup) cornflour (or more plain flour instead) 1/2 tsp (3g) salt 1 tsp (3g) cracked black pepper 2 tsp (10g) baking powder 125-175ml (125ml=half a cup) ice cold water Chips 3 medium maris piper potatoes, washed (600-650g) Oil to coat (sunflower/vegetable or similar) Salt to taste To Garnish Lemon wedges Tomato ketchup Malt vinegar Equipment needed Kitchen paper or tea towel - to dry the tofu Frying pan or large saucepan - for shallow frying METHOD First things first . . .  -For the chips, preheat oven to 220c (425F): for fan-assisted, 200c (390F), gas mark 7. -For the batter, either put some ice cubes into 200ml of cold water or put around 300ml of cold water into the freezer for around 20 minutes. Preparing the Tofu-Fish Fillets -Chop the tofu block widthways into thin slices (around 3mm thick) and lay the slices out onto a tea towel or kitchen paper. Fold the tea towel over the tofu (or put more kitchen paper on top) to encase the tofu slices and press lightly to remove water. -Lightly sprinkle sea salt over the tofu slices, followed by the nori sprinkles; the more you use, the ‘fishier’ the fillets will taste. -Stack the tofu slices up to make 2 even piles. Slice each pile lengthways straight down to give you 4 fillets. Skewer each fillet at both ends with a toothpick to hold them together. Set aside Chunky Oven Chips --Slice the potatoes into 1cm thick slices, then slice into 1cm thick chips. -(Optional) Add chips to a saucepan of boiling water on high heat, cover, get back to a rolling boil and then let cook for 90 seconds. Drain all the water away, cover the pan and shake vigorously to break up the outer layer of the chips, releasing the starch, giving them a fluffy and ‘gnarly’ outer layer. -Place onto a baking tray (lined, if desired), cover generously with oil, toss to coat and spread the chips out so they are touching as little as possible. -Cook in the oven for around 15 to 20 minutes or until you can see signs of caramelisation. Flip or jostle the chips around and then cook for another 10 to 15 minutes or until they have yellowed and caramelised in places. -Toss with some salt and any other seasoning to taste. Batter the ‘Tofu-Fish’ Fillets -While the chips are cooking, put all of the dry batter ingredients into a medium-sized bowl and mix to combine. Set aside. -Into a frying pan or large saucepan over high-heat, pour vegetable oil (or similar) so that it is around 1 cm (half inch) deep. Allow to heat for 2-3 minutes. It will ripple gently once hot. -Meanwhile, add around 125ml (half cup) of the ice cold water to the batter mix and stir until you have a double-cream consistency. Add more water if necessary. -Drop a blob of batter into the oil. It should bubble immediately and turn a light golden brown within 60 seconds once it’s hot enough. -Dip the fillets in the batter and cover, allow any excess to run off, then gently lay them away from you into the hot oil. Shallow fry for 2-3 minutes. The oil should be gently bubbling around the fillets but not violently. Adjust the heat throughout cooking if necessary. -Flip the fillets over and allow to fry for another 2 to 3 minutes until golden brown all over. Remove from the pan and allow to drain on some kitchen paper or tea towels. -The battered fillets can be kept warm in the oven with the chips for up to 10 minutes. -Serve with a wedge of lemon. NOTES -The fillets may need to shallow fry an additional minute or so on each side to ensure they’re golden brown all over. -Whilst shallow-frying, you can slowly spoon more batter around the edge of the fillet to bulk up the crispy batter coating. Highly recommended. -Very small lumps in the batter doesn’t matter. -Using baking powder in the batter makes it expand once in the oil. Cornflour makes it crispier and ice cold water makes the batter react strongly with the hot oil which gives a lighter and crisper batter. -Used cooking oil should not be poured down the drain. Instead, check to see whether your local recycling centre can take it.

Sea Smoke in China sea (East China Sea )
Is a my video on board a ship Sea smoke effect in January 2016 , East China Sea It forms when a light wind of very cold air mixes with a shallow layer of saturated warm air immediately above the warmer water. The warmer air is cooled beyond the dew point and can no longer hold as much water vapor, so the excess condenses out. Sea smoke has a turbulent appearance and may form spiralling columns. It is usually not very high and lookouts on ships can usually see over it (but small boats may have very poor visibility) because the fog is confined to the layer of warm air above the sea. However, sea smoke columns 20–30 metres high have been observed. Because this type of fog requires very low air temperatures, it is uncommon in temperate climates, but is common in the Arctic and Antarctic. Wikipedia font.

Water Exercise, Basic Walking (Aquatic Therapy) - Ask Doctor Jo
Water Exercise, Basic Walking (Aquatic Therapy) http://www.AskDoctorJo.com These basic water exercises in a pool will help get your walking or gait pattern back after an injury. More Details About This Video: One of the best ways to get your walking or gait pattern back after an injury is aquatic gait exercises. Walking in the water not only takes away some of gravity, but it also allows you to concentrate on getting your correct pattern back. It is a great way to get a workout without a lot of impact on your joints. These gait exercises are a good warm-up before you do an aquatic therapy workout. It is really important to make sure you have good posture when you are in the pool. It is really easy to move your upper body a lot, but you want to try to keep your upper body straight and upright. Squeeze in your abdominals to help keep that upright position. Using ankle weights can be very beneficial. Not only do they give you some extra resistance, but they also keep your feet on the ground while doing the exercises. To start off, simply walk forward. Concentrate on a heel to toe walking. When we walk on land, our heels hit first and we roll onto and push off with our toes. Exaggerate this movement while you walk while keeping that upright posture. Then reverse it and go backwards. Now your toes are going to hit first and roll back onto your heels. Try not to lean back when you are doing this, and keep your body upright. Next, turn sideways. When you step, it is important to keep your toes pointed forward. If you turn your foot out when you step, you are changing the muscles being worked. Finally, march by bringing your knee up toward the surface of the water getting a bend in your knee and hip. Really try to drive your knee upward to get a good stretch. Again, don't lean forward, try to keep your body upright. Depending on how fast you go, these should take you between 5-10 minutes and is used as a warm-up to your exercises. We visited this beautifully undeveloped park on the western shore of the Chesapeake Bay on April 3, 2010. The cliffs which dominate the shoreline of the Bay for thirty miles in Calvert County, were formed over 15 million years ago when all of Southern Maryland was covered by a warm, shallow sea. Over 600 species of ...fossils have been identified from these cliffs, with the teeth of various species of shark as the most abundant fossils.

🔥 What Are Coral Reefs?|Explained✨||SKY Aquariums
A coral reef is an underwater ecosystem characterized by reef-building corals. Reefs are formed of colonies of coral polyps held together by calcium carbonate. Most coral reefs are built from stony corals, whose polyps cluster in groups. Coral belongs to the class Anthozoa in the animal phylum Cnidaria, which includes sea anemones and jellyfish. Unlike sea anemones, corals secrete hard carbonate exoskeletons that support and protect the coral. Most reefs grow best in warm, shallow, clear, sunny and agitated water. Often called "rainforests of the sea", shallow coral reefs form some of Earth's most diverse ecosystems. They occupy less than 0.1% of the world's ocean area, about half the area of France, yet they provide a home for at least 25% of all marine species,[1][2][3][4] including fish, mollusks, worms, crustaceans, echinoderms, sponges, tunicates and other cnidarians.[5] Coral reefs flourish in ocean waters that provide few nutrients. They are most commonly found at shallow depths in tropical waters, but deep water and cold water coral reefs exist on smaller scales in other areas. Coral reefs deliver ecosystem services for tourism, fisheries and shoreline protection. The annual global economic value of coral reefs is estimated between US$30–375 billion.[6][7] Coral reefs are fragile, partly because they are sensitive to water conditions. They are under threat from excess nutrients (nitrogen and phosphorus), rising temperatures, oceanic acidification, overfishing (e.g., from blast fishing, cyanide fishing, spearfishing on scuba), sunscreen use,[8] and harmful land-use practices, including runoff and seeps (e.g., from injection wells and cesspools).[9][10][11] #SKYAQUARIUMS #CoralReefs #YouTube
Matt Glass and the Loose Cannons - Shallow Water - Live Album Recording Abbotsford Convent
Captured during the recording of their 2016 live album, performed over three nights at both Candelo Town Hall and the Abbotsford Convent, Matt Glass and the Loose Cannons with their sultry song, Shallow Water. Filmed by Cesar Rodrigues of Blank Tape Music. The album is filled with rousing folk songs and urban stories, and peppered with uplifting and tender moments. Matt's finely crafted songs are wonderfully complemented by the small ensemble, all clearly enjoying themselves immensely in their performance and each other's company. Rising above all is Matt's voice, with warm, arresting and resonant vocals akin to the late Jimmy Little. Produced by local wunderkind Myles Mumford (Kim Salmon, The Tiger And Me), the album is a perfect snapshot of the touring band as they begin pre-production on their third studio release, and finish a run of Festival and tour dates, which saw them perform at Illawarra Folk Festival, amongst others, alongside two East Coast tours in 2015/16. Captured 100% live and acoustic, Matt, Leif Helland (viola, mandolin-banjo, vox) and Aaron V Allen (mandolin, vox) journey through Matt's two previous studio albums, plus brand new material, with vigour and zest. Their sound effortlessly shifts between alt-country, folk, and bluegrass, and is lifted by soaring three-part harmonies.

When the cold winds of winter are making you dream of warmer climates, Death Valley is a great place to visit with the family. Here are seven kid friendly sites to see in America's lowest national park from our visit in 2015 --a super bloom year. Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/TravelingMel Filmmaking: iphone 4s Premiere Pro From Wikipedia: Death Valley National Park is an American national park that straddles the California—Nevada border, east of the Sierra Nevada. The park boundaries include Death Valley, the northern section of Panamint Valley, the southern section of Eureka Valley, and most of Saline Valley. The park occupies an interface zone between the arid Great Basin and Mojave deserts, protecting the northwest corner of the Mojave Desert and its diverse environment of salt-flats, sand dunes, badlands, valleys, canyons, and mountains. Death Valley is the largest national park in the lower 48 states, and the hottest, driest and lowest of all the national parks in the United States. The second-lowest point in the Western Hemisphere is in Badwater Basin, which is 282 feet (86 m) below sea level. Approximately 91% of the park is a designated wilderness area. The park is home to many species of plants and animals that have adapted to this harsh desert environment. Some examples include creosote bush, bighorn sheep, coyote, and the Death Valley pupfish, a survivor from much wetter times. UNESCO included Death Valley as the principal feature of its Mojave and Colorado Deserts Biosphere Reserve in 1984. A series of Native American groups inhabited the area from as early as 7000 BC, most recently the Timbisha around 1000 AD who migrated between winter camps in the valleys and summer grounds in the mountains. A group of European-Americans, trapped in the valley in 1849 while looking for a shortcut to the gold fields of California, gave the valley its name, even though only one of their group died there. Several short-lived boom towns sprang up during the late 19th and early 20th centuries to mine gold and silver. The only long-term profitable ore to be mined was borax, which was transported out of the valley with twenty-mule teams. The valley later became the subject of books, radio programs, television series, and movies. Tourism expanded in the 1920s when resorts were built around Stovepipe Wells and Furnace Creek. Death Valley National Monument was declared in 1933 and the park was substantially expanded and became a national park in 1994. The valley is actually a graben with the oldest rocks being extensively metamorphosed and at least 1.7 billion years old. Ancient, warm, shallow seas deposited marine sediments until rifting opened the Pacific Ocean. Additional sedimentation occurred until a subduction zone formed off the coast. In 2013, Death Valley National Park was designated as a dark sky park by the International Dark-Sky Association. death valley national park, death valley california, things to do in death valley, death valley for kids, death vally, death valley attractions, death valley kids, things to see in death valley, expedia death valley, death valley, death valley national park, california, mojave, nps, badwater, badwater basin, devil's golf course, dante's view, dante's view ridge, mt. perry, national park, desert, hiking, camping, backpacking, golden canyon, artist's drive, mesquite sand dunes, sand dunes, sunset, darwin falls, mosaic canyon, roadtrip, summit, mountains, geology, views, camping and hiking, travel, trail, stargazing, campfire, lizard, snake, artist's palette, , abandoned mines in death valley, death valley, abandoned mine, mines death valley, ran out of gas, abandon in desert, 100 years old, old abandon mines, blocked off, no trespassing, people that lived in caves, 100 year old mines, stranded in the desert, breaking into mine, trespassing, not allowed, exploring abandoned mines, abandon mine, funk bros, capron funk, corey funk, mine house, death valley national park best hikes, when did death valley become a national park, death valley backcountry camping, death valley trees, valley of fire, Nevada, valleyoffire, the wave, TravelingMel

UNIVORE - Beasts from a Silk Womb
UNIVORE Beasts From a Silk Womb (2013) https://itunes.apple.com/us/album/beasts-from-a-silk-womb/id603220967 http://univore.bandcamp.com/album/beasts-from-a-silk-womb On February 19, 2013, the second day of the sun's transit through the celestial longitude aligned with the Pisces constellation, UNIVORE will digitally release its third studio album, BEASTS FROM A SILK WOMB. This album will be available on iTunes, Amazon, Emusic and other online retailers. Beasts from a Silk Womb is UNIVORE's loose interpretation of the modern and traditional mythologies of the end times, as predicted both by societies' deliberate or incidental adherence to cyclic cosmology and by the frequent overzealous portraits of the rapture phenomenon put forth by multiple religious sects. Beasts From A Silk Womb is the confluence of apocalyptic imagery and the expected human responses of preparation, celebration, and defiance to the end of the world, all of which are proven moot as more such predictions fail into the 21st century. The album is thirty-four minutes in length and features eight new original tracks: 888 (inst.) Humanity Family Beast From A Silk Womb (inst.) Lay The Hands That Changes Everything Together With You Ice Trust (inst.) Victory Days (Victory Ways) UNIVORE recorded, produced, and mixed all tracks at their home studio, Chubby Luggage, in the East Village neighborhood on the west side of Chicago, formerly a warm, shallow sea pregnant with the now-fossilized plant spores and crinoids of the Silurian period until it all hardened into limestone bedrock. The recording was made with the use of guitars, bass, electric and acoustic, synthesizers, beat sequencers, acoustic drums, an air-conditioner, human voices, and tambourine.

Testing Out My Umbrella Fish Trap! Catching Fish In Shallow Water? (VIETNAM)

Often times in Vietnam, new fishing spots can be hit or miss. Regardless, I wanted to try my luck. I've used my umbrella fish trap before, often catching smaller fish and other marine life (link below). Today, was a bit different as I was testing shallow water that's not connected to a river. This can be problematic due to overfishing. I was limited for time as I worked in the afternoon, nevertheless, I had a blast! So much fun! I’ve been living in Vietnam since 2014 and enjoying every bit of it. Trying to learn the ways of the locals, one step at a time. (Tôi đã sống ở Việt Nam từ 2014 và tôi yêu cuộc sống ở đây. Sirenia Sea Cow
The Sirenia, commonly referred to as sea cows or sirenians, are an order of fully aquatic, herbivorous mammals that inhabit swamps, rivers, estuaries, marine wetlands, and coastal marine waters. The Sirenia currently comprise the families Dugongidae (the dugong) and Trichechidae (manatees) with a total of four species. The Protosirenidae (Eocene sirenians) and Prorastomidae (terrestrial sirenians) families are extinct. Sirenians are classified in the clade Paenungulata, alongside the elephants and the hyraxes, and evolved in the Eocene 50 million years ago. The Dugongidae diverged from the Trichechidae in the late Eocene or early Oligocene. Sirenians grow to between 2.5 and 4 metres (8.2 and 13.1 feet) in length and 1,500 kilograms (3,300 pounds) in weight. The now extinct Steller's sea cow was the largest sirenian to have lived, and could reach lengths of 8 metres (26 feet) and weights of 8 to 10 metric tons (8.8 to 11.0 short tons). Sirenians have a large, fusiform body to reduce drag through the water. They have heavy bones that act as ballasts to counteract the buoyancy of their blubber. They have a thin layer of blubber and consequently are sensitive to temperature fluctuations, which cause migrations when water temperatures dip too low. Sirenians are slow-moving, typically coasting at 8 kilometres per hour (5.0 miles per hour), but they can reach 24 kilometres per hour (15 miles per hour) in short bursts. They use their strong lips to pull out seagrasses, consuming 10–15% of their body weight per day. While breathing, they hold just their nostrils above the surface, sometimes standing on their tails to do so. Sirenians typically inhabit warm, shallow, coastal waters, or rivers. They are mainly herbivorous, but have been known to consume animals such as birds and jellyfish. Males typically mate with more than one female (polygyny), and may participate in lek mating. Sirenians are K-selected, and display parental care. The meat, oil, bones, and skins are valuable items sold in markets. Mortality is often caused by direct hunting by humans or other human-induced causes, such as habitat destruction, entanglement in fishing gear, and watercraft collisions. Steller's sea cow went extinct due to overhunting in 1768.

INSANELY EASY Gravity Fed Water System for Off Grid Living
Support us on Patreon: http://bit.ly/2tdla40 Book we referenced in our water system design: http://amzn.to/2hpmnvK All of our water system videos: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLp1Rm233y0B_K1QmobMnKJrgfSFdPRdna We moved to our off grid property one year ago and recently we upgraded our off grid water system to something that is both gravity-fed and gives us access to a lot more water! We were first bringing water into our property in 6-gallon jugs but now we have a 650 gallon cistern at the top of our hill. While it is in our future to drill a well, it's not a good solution for us today as the pros don't outweigh the cons. We call this our "interim" water solution because it's between water jugs and a well! For the next couple of years or so, we will probably work on fine-tuning this system as it seems to work great!
